Dental disease is a common problem seen in pets. The problem is multifactorial but can be exacerbated by jaw conformation abnormalities and poor diet. Severe dental disease can be a cause of mouth pain, heart, liver and kidney disease so it is important to identify possible problems early. In August we will be offering free dental checks to advise you on prophylactic measures that can be taken to improve your pets dental health. Whether it be changing diets, tooth brushing, advice on ways to encourage chewing or recommending a dental scale and polish under general anaesthesia.
